What type of music did you grow listening to?
I listened to all types of music. Mostly I listened to a lot of southern rock with electric guitar like Aerosmith and Lynard Skynard. I also listened to country and hip hop.
When do you find yourself listening to music?
All of the time. I can't work out without listening to my IPod. When I work out, I listen to hard house, mash-ups and remixes because it makes me run really fast. When I cook, I like to listen to stuff like the Black Crowes, Poison, Motley Cure, etc. The rest of the time, it's whatever is on my radio. My radio station buttons are set to country, classic rock, top 40 r&b and hip hop, and alternative rock.
What does Mixed Greens mean to you?
It means another project I can be proud of. I'm excited because it's the first time I've co-produced a music compilation.
I get to see the music industry from different angle, I'm so use to just listening to music. So now since I'm behind the
scenes selecting songs and such thing, it has helped to make a bigger impact on my career. It's gives me more
respect for the industry and all the artists involved in it.
How is modeling and music similar?
They are both very artistic and creative. I think you have to be artistic to do either successfully. It actually helps me to listen to music when I'm modeling. It brings out my creativity.
When your in the shower what song are you singing?
Well it might sound funny, but I find myself making up silly little songs all day. They're usually about my dog Daisy Mae.
So your going to interview all the artist on the Mixed Greens Compilation for Burn TV. What kind of question can we expect?
Yes, I'll be interviewing them. I want to find out things like how they got their names. What artists on the Mixed Greens cd other than themselves do they really like. I'm interested in learning where their musical background comes from. I also want to know how their music affects their style and the way they dress. Are they trying to send a specific message through their music? Things like that.
So we hear you have an incredible Poster Calendar for 2008 tell us about it?
Yeah, I'm really excited. I trained really hard physically for the shoot. There's kind of a message in the shot. You'll be able to see some background on how the wardrobe developed. It brought me back to my roots and made me realize how much I love modeling. Don't forget to buy it!!!
When you're not hosting BURN TV, producing a compilation or modeling what you are doing?
I spend a lot of time with my family. I also work out a lot, even though I have a love/hate relationship with the gym sometimes. I've been going to a lot of auditions. I just got booked for a national campaign, but I'll tell you more about that as it develops.
Tell us about BURN Flames that we're hearing about so much?
We have a lovely, talented group of ladies that are representing BURN. We're not going for just another pretty face, but girls that have the whole package...beauty with something else to offer.
Do you have any shout outs?
Gotta say "HI" to all the BURN Flames, my hard-working, never-to-busy-to-call manager Reali, all the people and artists that worked so hard on Mixed Greens, and of course...my family. One more thing...Hey Nick, when we going to do that Angel Eyes video?
