Mixed Green's Artist: Epsilon Project
How did the band's name come about? Was it a group effort or an epiphany?
Epsilon- the number 5 in Greek Phonetics. The group started with 5 members: Unxpect, Calmplex, Stylez, Verb and Andidote. We have since expanded, but kept the name.
It wasn’t either an epiphany or group effort really; it was more like a video game induced pronouncement. Basically, Epsilon DID come about on some Greek Phonetic framework type shit, BUT Calmplex sort of swiped the title from Dead or Alive (the video game) as well. Project Epsilon- on some super soldier shit… Greek Phonetics and super soldiers…hahahhaa
Did you get into music for the art of it or was it all because of the groupies (Male and Female)?

How do you feel about being a part of Mixed Greens?
We feel like the Cornbread... you can't have Mixed greens without the
Cornbread.
How about the personalities of the group? Who's the wild one, who's
the business one, who's not paying attention?
Well Kingsley is Definitely the Weird outter space guy, Calmplex is
the Layed back one, Verb is the Quiet one, Antidote is the Opinionated
one, Armani is the Potpourri dude, J-pro would be the Business one, Unxpect is the Glue dude.
Who's your idol or inspiration for your music?
Everyone we grew up listening to, everyone who’s had any influence on our lives (positive or negative). The questions pretty loaded, basically, everything.
Where do you feel music is going in the next couple of years?
Music for me is headed in a positive direction because I continue to
open up to new types of music noticing that other genres aren't going
through the same problems as Hip hop. So Music as a whole is headed in
the right direction.
How often do you write songs & how do you come up with your song
concepts?
Well as a group we write songs every weekend or at least come together
to share the ideas that someone has had during the week... But we are
constantly writing verses everyday. We try to keep the recording to twice a week, writing constantly. The concepts just sort of come about freely.
Mixed Greens is a Blended Musical Compilation how do you describe
your music?
The same... with so many members in the group and so many different
Ideas we just clump all the ideas together to make one masterpiece.
Whats the best part about creating your own music?
Having someone all the way across the world who you never met before
vibe out to something you created at your house
